Groundsure Explorer - Access
Access all your data in our digital workspace
Choose how the data is presented to you
When you first open Groundsure Explorer you will see a welcome modal, with animations of the three key pillars.
By selecting the 'Set up workspace' button you will be presented with two options:
Declutter your workspace
Moves all the data layers that return 0 features when searched for your site into the archive, so that all the data layers in your workspace contain features. If you need to access the data from the archive you can use the toggle on the control panel to switch between the workspace and the archive.
Show all searched layers
Puts all the data layers we have searched into the workspace, regardless of whether any data is returned during the search or not. You then have full control what goes into the archive
Find the data you need first time
The list of data available for your site is shown on the control panel. Depending how you have set up your workspace, all the data will either be in the Workspace tab, or be across the Workspace and Archive tab. The individual data layers are presented in the same groups and the same order as our PDF reports to provide a familiar experience.
You can also use the search bar towards the top of the control panel to search the name of data layers or specific years to filter the historical maps.
Collaborate with colleagues
It's possible to share access to Groundsure Explorer with your colleagues. All that is required is they have a Groundsure Insights account and you are all part of the same organisation account.
Once your access to Groundsure Explorer is available you will see a panel on the control panel of the Insights platform homepage - Discover Groundsure Explorer
Clicking the Select order button will open a modal with all your Groundsure Explorer orders which you can open to view the historical maps and data.
To share a workspace click the Share icon at the end of the row for the relevant order. When you click the search bar you will be present with a list of registered users for your organisation. You can add them one by one or click Invite all members of my organisation.
Each users will be added to your workspace as an Editor, meaning they have full access to the workspace. We are working on other permission level!
If any Explorer workspaces have been shared with you, these can be access from the same modal by switching to the shared with me tab.
