BGS Boreholes
Layer name: Boreholes-Boreholes_BGS
This is a point based dataset of the British Geological Survey's Single Onshore Boreholes Index (SOBI) which covers onshore and nearshore boreholes for England, Wales and Scotland. The index includes over one million records of boreholes, shafts and wells from all forms of drilling and site investigation work dating back to at least 1790 and ranging from one to several thousand metres deep. Records include confidentiality status, name, depth and the web link to the online record.
